A detail survey has been conducting the National Environment Awareness Campaign in this area. This year also, we have conducted the NEAC at Sinduria G.P under Nayagada Block on the topic “Water is the elixir of our life” taking the women SHG members by the assistance of Govt . of India.
To give the women a better scope we have made a federation among the groups. The motto is to solve the financial crisis of the groups ,to solve the problems of women atrocities and to interaction which different group activities. In this process we have made tangible achievements on woman atrocities.
On the 14th July 2012 we have celebrated Banamahotchaba program by Dr.Prof.Narayan Hazari who is planted the tree in our school with the students. Also he gives some slogans ,about the tree which is excited to the students to plantation.508 plants are planted like sal,Piasal ,Tigwood ,Krushnachura,Karanja ,Kaju ,etc.
An awareness camp for welfare of disabled person had been organized on behalf of our organization. On Viswa Akshama Diwas 135 disabled persons had undergone checking for the multiple disability. They had been advised for health care ,sanitation and disability certificates.
This organization is running a high school named as Mother Abasika Ucha Bidyalaya for poor SC & ST Dropout ,Child labour children and imamates of the orphanage run by this organization “Mother Abasika Ucha Bidyalaya” has classes fro I to X .
After a detail survey in nayagada District ,has defected 45 no. of deaf & dumb children and started a special school so as to educate them and to bring them to the mainstream. For their economic sustenance .,different trainings are being impacted to then like , pottery, garments marketing ,paper bag making and mushroom cultivation.
Our organization has been providing training on various handicraft activities such as tailoring ,knitting ,embroidery ,Art and craft work and various stone & wood craft in the Nayagada district .This training is mainly for the economic sustenance of the rural & urban sector and at the same time it will help the age old cottage industries to retrieve. Some design development training has also provided to various handicraft activities to the rural & urban women this year.
